Understanding Function of Fungi: Under Construction

MacroMycoFunc

The MacroMycoFunc project held between 2016-2018, brought together more than 35 scientists, including evolutionary biologists, plant and fungal biologists, and ecologists. This project focused on answering macroecological and macroevolutionary questions building upon sequencing data that analyzed how fungi operate across different ecological guilds and how function alters over time. MacroMycoFunc laid important groundwork for advancing the use of next-generation sequencing in fungal research and bridging gaps in related fields of study.

The culmination of this project led to the creation of Fun^Fun database.
