Our Vision
We envision a global network of networks that integrates diverse plant-microbial interaction data and scientists to address critical ecological and societal challenges.
Our Mission
Our mission in MicrobeNet^Net is to build a global, interdisciplinary network that harmonizes data streams, fosters interdisciplinary collaborations, and trains the next generation of scientists to lead cross-boundary research. This collaborative effort will advance our understanding of plant-mycorrhizal fungal interactions and expand to other plant-microbial relationships, providing insights for climate response models, restoration, forestry, and agricultural practices.
Our primary mission in Phase I is implementation of the network of networks. During this phase we will build rapport within our collective, hold conferences, workshops, meetings, and host research exchanges across the world.
